Rendez-vous with European cinema: Ukrainian film screening
Exclusive screening in Brussels of the Ukrainian feature film Klondike directed by Ms Maryna Er Gorbach, on Tuesday 19 April at Cinema Galeries.
The event is proposed by EFAD (European association of national Film Agencies), in partnership with European associations in the culture and audiovisual sector: CEDC, CICAE, Cineuropa, Europa Distribution, Europa International, EFA, EPC, EWA, FERA, SAA, UNIC.
It will be the occasion to celebrate Ukrainian cinema and discuss how to support the film community in Ukraine.
The screening (with EN subtitles) will start at 7.00 pm at Cinema Galeries (Galerie de la Reine) and will be followed by a Q&A session with the director, Maryna Er Gorbach.
Klondike tells the story of a Ukrainian family living on the border of Russia and Ukraine during the start of the war. Irka refuses to leave her house even as the village gets captured by armed forces.
