For more than a century, Sabam has been collecting and distributing rights of authors, composers, and publishers. Representing 50,000 members in music, film & television, theatre & dance, visual arts, and literature in Belgium, she works tirelessly to advocate for authors’ rights, to ensure creative work is fairly valued and creators receive appropriate remuneration.
Through her cultural fund, She issues grants to help creators develop their artistic career. In addition, Sabam is a partner of the major cultural events in Belgium, funds federations representing the interests of creators and proposes training and coaching for entrepreneurship in the cultural sector.
