Virginia Yagüe

Virginia Yagüe has an extensive professional career in the creation and scriptwriting of television series such as La Sanora, 14 de Abril: La República and Amar en Tiempos Revueltos. She won the Golden Biznaga at the Malaga Festival for the script of the feature film Els Nens Salvatges (2012). In 2024, she collaborated to three different TV series projects: Operación Barrio Inglés (as co-creator), Las abogadas, and Invisible. Her latest film, Nosotros, is scheduled to be released in 2025.

In 2022, Yagüe was elected president of the Spanish collective management organisation DAMA (Derechos de Autor de Medios Audiovisuales). She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the CIMA association, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Film Academy, specialising in screenplays.
