Ivana Sujová
Ivana Sujová is a scriptwriter and festival director from Slovakia. In 2014, she wrote the animated short Rosso Papavero directed by Martin Smatana, which premiered at Berlinale. Since 2018, she is the director of the Fest Anča International Animation Festival, the only Slovak multimedia festival focused on animated films. In 2019, she founded the series festival Pilot, the only event in Slovakia focused on TV series and their production. Since then, she has worked on many indie short films and projects for private broadcasters in Slovakia, including daily dramas and comedy TV series. She is an alumna of Serial Eyes, Europe’s premier postgraduate training programme for television writers and producers organised by DFFB (German Film and Television Academy), which she attended between 2021 and 2022. She currently covers two committee expert positions at the Slovak Audiovisual Fund and the Fond na podporu umenia (Art Support Fund).
